Angry nohorn no reverse lights ?

Bought this truck last week im very happy with it so far i payed 2200.00 for it. Its a 98 ram 1500 4x4 i knew it needed some work and im fine with that. But when i test drove it i had my girl sit in the truck while i checked everything out the horn worked and the reverse lights worked but the engine check light was on. Before i bought it i told him it would not pass inspection like that. By the way it was a donation truck from florida i live in ny. When he bought it to me and i seen the light out he said it was the neturle safety switch which they fixed. I started it up and the horn dont work now and no reverse lights checked the fuses do you think is in the steering colum also checked the bulbs what do i look for

Switch for reverse lights is down on the trans, where the shift linkage hits. If they replaced the switch, probably just needs adjusted. Have a look.

Try swapping out the horn relay, and see if that changes anything.
