Hi everyone. My name is Brandon and i just recently inherited my dads 96 dodge ram 1500 4x4. I am in the process of restoring her to her former glory before the Michigan roads took their toll. I would like to lower it a little while im redoing it because It isn't going off road anymore after i do. But all i can find is lowering kits for 2wd trucks and lift kits for 4wd trucks. i was wondering if somebody knew where i could find a lowering kit for a 4x4 truck?

 

nope sorry. Think I remember reading that it was against a "man-law" to lower a 4x4. ;-)

 

Doubt anyone makes lowering kits for 4x4's. And for good reason. If you want to restore it to it's "former glory," leave the nice factory 4x4 stance.
