yup....just stick your finger down the hole you'll feel the opening is bigger towards where the plates mount... all fastman and the others do for a 50mm is remove the taper at the top cut off the airhorns and polish things up...mainly

I have a 52mm and just found out today that the idle needs to be bumped up a bit. I never thought of it. But i wouldn't get enough air at start, basically choking it, run pretty rough then level out in about a min. Somethin to think about if you have any problems.

52mm is a totally different ballgame...only benificial if you have a 360 with mods to help it breath better like a better flowing exhaust and heads or at least 1.7 rockers.. to get the air out as fast as it gets in.... its not recommended for stock 360's or mild 318's...you actually lose power throught the low and mid range..with the latter.

Mine idles a little rough when its cold... think I should bump the idle up a bit with my tuner? It idles around 900 right now.

Mine sat at 700 rpm on the gauge but 670 on the scanner. Bumped it up and cured my rough idle. Yours sounds opposite of mine. Mine was fine when cold because of the higher idle.
