I figured as much... learn something new everyday :P as far as my freeze plug adventure today, I wouldn't have been able to tell you a freeze plug was part of a vehicle 2 weeks ago... or even know what it was in context to! Forgive my novice...ness.. :O

i work at a dealership so i would mount them myself, other then the wear, would the tire fall off?

No the tire will not fall off, but if you hit a curb or somthing like it you have a higher risk of poping the tire off the rim or busting the rims bead area.

Totally missed the fact you said I had a lot of weight on the rim... e.g. I'm burning something up rather quickly? Or undue stress on the system as a whole? I'm thinking about getting some new tires... I'm not looking to go offroading in a 2wd.. at least no without a winch... But I'm not sure if I want to invest the money in it or not... I'm still up in the air if I want to put the truck up for sale or not... (I have a feeling I want to continually switch vehicles... not sure why, especially since I have only had this for 2 months tomorrow)....

From what I can see in your pix I would invest in a new set of tires, and I would lay odd's that most of those weights will come off. You can also look into balancing beads they work great and are not more $$$ than the lead weights cost.

Keep the truck it looks great.

I run 305's on my stock rims 95 1500 4X4. Mine rub the lower link at full turn. They don't wear funny on mine...

You can't put a 16 inch tire on a 17 inch rim ....HOWEVER, you can put a 17 inch tire on a 16 inch rim....but it will not stay there long :-)
