Definately gonna do that! Also wanna make sure, that threaded hole going out that you can see in the pic doesnt need sealed right?

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to plug it, just to keep "things" from accumulating there...... isn't required though.

what is that threaded hole for? i have the same open hole and never knew until i had the trans out and replacing some other lines.

The threaded hole is where a metal tube attaches that comes off the exhaust manifold.

If you have a plate where the EGR valve would normally be, you don't need to worry about the hole on the back of the manifold, it doesn't go anywhere.

ha thanks, me and my buddy were putting the trans back in and i noticed it and thought we missed something. held us up for an hour looking thru the whole manual and online so said screw it and kept going. still gotta adjust the shift lever on that thing.
