Default Adding factory keyless entry?

I have a 99 that is loaded except keyless entry. I happened across a junk 98 with keyless entry. I know the central timer module controls the keyless entry. Is it a simple swap or easier to go aftermarket?

Funny enough, i was about to start a thread about the system i got in my truck. It's factory. But some things don't work right. Like the alarm and such. I'd go aftermarket.

Go to the dodge dealer and see if you have the correct key fob (the keyless entry remote) if so they can program it for you.

My 99 was not equipped with the correct CTM for keyless entry

The junk 98 has key fobs with it, so I would not need them reprogrammed.
