Not your typical Plenum question.
Been lurking for awhile, nice site figured I would register. My 2nd gen dodge needs the plenum replaced. Ive seen the kit for around $100 bucks and it seems like the way to go instead of just changing the gasket. Ive also kicked around buying another intake. I can get this edelbrock performer for $100 from a friend who basically collections junk http://www.ebay.com/itm/MOPAR-Chrysl...a691e2&vxp=mtr
Anyone does this before? any fitment issues? My ram is not my daily driver. My mechanical skills are 3/10. I understand I will need a few tools I dont have but I dont mind buying them. Would I be ok doing the work myself? Bearing in mind it can sit in my garage and I can take my time doing the work. Thanks!

edit - i type too slow.
no. that intake is for a carb engine. you'd need a fuel injected (FI) version, which is price out of sight. unless you have a lot of money to burn, just put on the plate and a fastman TB if you want a little boost.
see the 8 injector holes at the end of the runners.
