Default Summit = pacesetter shorties?

Reading around random threads and stumbled upon this intriguing statement but remained unclear to me...

Are Summit headers, (SUM-G9045) the same headers as pacesetter shorties (70-1315), just relabeled?

+1 pacesetter makes the summit branded headers. Don't expect the paint to last.

+2 ^^^^

I just replaced my rusty cracked pacesetters with these particular ones sold on ebay and the fit and finish was better than the pacesetters...everything lined up perfect... and they are stainless so you wont have to replace them again in 5 years when the pacesetters rust through...
I coated the inside on mine with the eastwood header liner spray that helps keep the temps down and the pipes from getting as hot and discoloring as much... I made a thread with a full comparison and pics... they are almost exact replicas of the pacesetter only better material and welds and bigger passages... and this is based on my side by side comparision...not the usual speculation plus I have found there are at least two different headers sold as no name headers on ebay the only issue with these is the grade 5 bolts that come with them are the wrong 5/16-16 size instead of the 5/16-18 our trucks actually take... The gaskets are good ones though.

They in the link to the thread I posted? funny though they have gone up in price in the last two weeks by like $80.00! Word must be catching on... there is one set left for 108 bucks...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1993-1996-Do...item3a71b690cd

even though they say dakota they are the same headers.. and say so in the compatibility chart in the auction. I would jump on them since his new price is $188 plus $39 shipping...

I dont see what one has to do with the other? headers can run very hot.... this is why I coating the interior of mine ...you can get them ceramic coated as well which keeps temps under the hood cooler also.. the headers dont touch anything but the heads and exhaust when installed right so shouldnt melt anything... you want to keep the plug wires off them of course.
