Ok so my current set up now I stock cat, y piped(no muffler), all 3" piping, and angled out at 45 degrees with 3 1/2" tips. Would having 3" tips change the sound at all. And would changing the style of tips do anything to sound quality like I have slash cut tips now, and would having a straighter cut and rolled in end do anything. Thanks.

 

If the tips are resonated, then yes the sound will change. I think a little quieter. If not resonated, no difference in sound no matter the cut.
