On the Fence... 285's 4.10 or 4.56?

So is there any downside of running the 4.56's then? I ask because I will be regearing soon from my 3.55's (they suck). I use my truck mainly for highway towing (my bass boat between tournaments). I have 285's and my current gas mileage while towing is horrible and the power just isn't there while towing either. From everything I've read, it seems 4.56 is really the only way to go and just ignore the 4.10?

P.S. Where's the best place to buy them?

If you are doing towing on the freeway mostly, I think I would stick with the 4.10s... You should have O/D off while towing, and I think the 4.56 gears would have you pushing 3 grand at 65MPH........

I would go 4.56. The extra torque will bring a smile to your lips.
