Default bulb retaining ring for headlights

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the retaining rings for my 97 ram 1500 that lock the headlight bulb into place? I called the Dodge dealer near me and they discontinued them. I've already checked all the junk yards around me and couldn't find anything. Even if you don't know where I can get one does anyone know what I can do to lock the bulb in place so they don't melt the plastic housing?
