Default removing coils...

Ok so I still havent put on my new tires,leveling kit&lift yet planning on having atleast half of the money for my gear swap before I through em on.Then@the same time gonna oaint her.But...when I do I want to pull my coils&blast&paint em.They look like after I remove the. Shock towers they will pull right out is that correct?Thanks

i'm not sure. with the body jacked up and the front axle hanging and the shock removed - its all loose and ready to come out, but beware there might still be tension on the coil spring. if so - be safe and use a spring compressor to compress it.

+1 for Vaughn(as usual lol) Also the spring compressor will give you some extra wiggle room to remove them. Also you can use it for re-installation.

Also might want to wrap it with a chain just in case it wants to fly out.

Disconnect the sway bar for a little more drop on the axle, make it a little easier too.
