Default ground wire and vacuum hose

I have a lot of it together at this point on my 318. I asked about the vacuum hose that broke. real thin but its not the one that goes to cruise control. it is at a T but cant find the other end to track it to or from. Its on the same line that feeds everything from the intake and cruise control.

I also have a three end ground that I need to put back but not sure about where one end goes. I know one end is in the rear of the passenger side cylinder head and I am think the middle one attaches to the fire wall but the third end is a question mark? it like a V type. Think maybe somehow its suppose to attach to the other cylinder head? I look ed through all the pictures I took and I dont even see it.

There is a small vacuum line that goes into the firewall for the AC vent controls. Don't know where the ground goes to.

AC vent control. that sound like fun to hunt down.

I was wrong on ground. it went to the back valve cover bolt and I believe the center one goes to the fire wall but I cant remember where there other end goes. book say nothing about ground or where they go. I may have to go look at a similar dodge year and see where its places them. Thanks

You shoule be able to see the end of it sticking out if you shine a good flashlight back against firewall. Pass side, I think right above crank sensor. I have the whoe front end of my Ram masked off where I cannot get the hood open or I would look at ground wires. I don't remember seeing the ground wires when I did my plenum.

Thanks. I will look there. to be honest, I dont know if I broke the hose or it has been. either way, I would like to fix it while I'm in there. being my first time doing this has been stressful but I have learned a lot from it as well.

As to the ground. its a V style look as if it comes from the fire wall to the valve cover. I looked through all the pictures I took hoping to see it but didn't. I dont even understand the purpose of this ground wire other than grounding the motor to the body. Thanks for your help.

Found out that I didn't have a vacuum line broke and I found the ground wire to where they go. they have a ground wire on both cylinder heads. she up and running. in the morning I will start it up and let warm then check all my bolt with a torque wrench.

So where did the end of the thin vacuum line go?

The line wasn't broke but you were correct, it did run into the firewall. I'm now dealing with no air or anything which tells me I have a bad fuse. I turned on everything from air condition to defrost and nothing. I will look at my fuses this afternoon. I haven't done a compression test but everything looking good no leaks and its running good. In fact the oil gauge is responding to my throttle which it didnt before. when I raise the rpms, it goes up with it. temp runs about 180 degrees about a good eighth to left of halfway. no leaking at this point. going to run it some more today since I have to run my wife to her work for a meeting so were taking the Dodge. yee haw

There is a resistor for the blower motor that can go bad. Maybe a search - I have seen it discussed, but not had any persona experience with the problem.

I will have to look that up as well. It was working great before the tear down so I may have either disconnected something I didn't notice or something. other than that, everything seems good so far. I really appreciate all the help here guys. it was a scary but new experience that I have learned from.
