^^^ +1... dont put 2500 logos...you'll just feel foolish when your called out on it... just debadge the 1500 markers you have now.. I actually used gen 3 badges on my gen 2.
I would get a mild lift and slightly bigger tires as well as the lights and call it a day maybe a tougher sounding axhaust and better gears to put some bite behind the looks...
I believe I read that the 2500 and 1500 extended cabs (or whatever terminology dodge is using ) used the same frame.... the 1500 frame is considerably beefier than many of the ford and chevy 1500's I've seen...2500 axles and other components are definatly heavier duty... and it shows in the gas mileage too...

It doesn't show in mileage as much as you think, my ol' mans 99 2500 V8 got 16 mpg highway which is AWESOME for a 2500 4wd ext. cab longbox... my 1500 get 17 highway on a good day.. then my dad put on 33's from the 245s and poof went the mileage, lol.
If you do like you said, mild lift, cab lights, and tow mirrors, you'll have a nice look. If you wanna fool people to think you have 8 lug axles, get the stock steel commercial style wheels and put on 8 lug hub caps

You might be able to get 8-lug style hubcaps to go over steel 6-lug wheels. Sounds like something the dress-up vendors probably have somewhere in the catalog.

Ram's right. That 5 is RIGHT beside the 6. I type in the dark sometimes.

I think the wheel covers would do more for the fake than most of the subtle things; spring change in the front would be next, I think. Thanks for digging up a link; I was too lazy.

I'm sorry, but, this is funniest thread I've read in a while. From the OP. "Actually everything I do on this truck is for looks" . Uh ok. Then why the (uneven or straight for that matter)fogs on the bumper?

Dude, read the forum and fix the common problems first. Then waste money on bling. Trust me, you won't be sorry.
