Con's: It's a Dodge.
$3k is probably a good price, what condition is it in? 4x4 or 4x2? What's your intended use, DD or adventure rig?
Be prepared to dig into the plenum if it hasn't been done yet.
Be prepared to eventually work on the transmission if that hasn't been done yet too.

its a 4x4. Daily driver and ill be doin a lil offroading with it(not beatin it to crap just getting her a lil muddy) and i dont believe the trannys been worked on but i plan on eventuallyy rebuilding it or dropping a different one in. it has low miles so im assuming it does not need it quite yet

Well if it's clean I'd ****** it up for $3k.
The transmission's are iffy, some people put over 100,00k on the original before work has to be done, other's don't get so lucky.
The PATC Viper or Mega Viper is the way to go for replacement transmission's.
As HeyYou said don't expect good gas mileage, after all it is a heavy beast and was never intended to get "good" mileage.
Some people have all kinds of front end issue's, some don't. I think the solid front axle's are the one's with the "Death Wobble" issue's, but you may never have a problem.
Let us know if you decide to get it!
