Default Tire Size

Would i be able to run a 295/70/r17 on my 2001 dodge ram with a 17x8 wheel with either 4 and 7/8 backspacing or 4 and 3/4 back spacing with a 3 inch lift without rubbing issues, that tire size is a 33.5 12.2 or 12. Thanks

Yep. Should fit fairly well. You might get some rub on the lower control arms, as I think stock backspacing is 4.5? (assuming 4x4) But, only when turning REALLY tight. (at lock)

I'd suggest a leveling kit if you don't already have one.. My truck doesn't. My friend does and he has 285's and he just about clears em. If you plan on offroading, get that leveling kit just to make sure there is more clearance in the front. just to be safe. That's what i'd do.
