I'm lookin to throw a chip on my 97 dodge ram with 6in on 33"s need some better mpg's. Already cut the cat out and straight pipe it. Any ideas anyone?? Thanks
I have accepted the fact that my truck won't go over 105 that's why I have a Kawasaki Ninja.
Another fellow biker... Your truck wont go faster than 105? Ive had mine pegged at the 120 line. In my 01 ORE also... although i wouldnt do it now with everything about to fall apart..
The chip will work for 50-200 miles before the computer learns that it is there and reverts back to the stock settings, the only way to use the computer to increase anything is to re-program it. Don't waste the $60 bucks.
So in our trucks the computer does that?? Any other way to get around that and be able to use the tuner?

yes.. use a real tuner like sct or superchips or hypertech... jetchips and the like dont work on our trucks since they dont really change any programming..
