Its pretty easy to buy something there you just need either a PayPal account or a credit card... and look at the feedback when you search... I usually sort by price and go from there... I've bought hundreds of things from there and saved thousands...

Plenum wouldn't make much sense would it? If he notices a fuel smell, its probably running rich, right? Blown plenum would make it run lean, I'd think. Sounds more like an ignition issue...?

Even when my plenum was blown, I still had a fuel smell from the exhaust most likely from a bad o2/exhaust. He says there's oil in intake, so either way its a bad gasket or pcv.

I put a crank sensor in from advance auto and within a month had misses throughout. Tired of wasting money on auto store parts. Went to dodge and they asked for my vin. Said there were multiple for that year. Funny how its vin specific yet auto store says theirs works in all. Fixed my problem. Well that specific one. They never stop lol

yeah I think maybe you had one for a v6 or defective or something because they are the same for all the v8 magnums... The one I bought on ebay has been in for over a month and works great?
Dealer parts arent always superior they just cost more.....I found that out with my governor pressure soleniod and sensor.... borg warner one I replaced it with the second time is superior in every way..
