Default 2500/3500 springs in 1500

Im looking for a way to get a couple inches of lift out of my truck. Currently it has a coil spacer in the front and a 2 in block in the back for suspension. Im wondering if i can take a coil spring and leaf packet out of a 2500/3500 ram and have it bolt right up.

Has anyone tried this and had success?

Coil springs swap out easily, however 2500/2300 leafs are 3in wide, 1500s are 2.5in so you would have to change out the hanger brackets and perches on the axels. Unless you find a 94-96ish LD 2500, they use 2.5in wide leaf springs
