head gaskets are probly blown. check the oil dipstick to see if it has water in it or if it looks milky.

Doesn't every vehicle do that at first start up? It's called condensation no ?

I was thinking that myself zman, I notice this in my truck in the morning, no coolant loss or leak-down into the oil, so I chalked it up to condensation, with mine at least I only see it on cool mornings.

Mine blows white smoke at startup, and looses zero coolant. I live in an area where things don't condensate, and it smells like white smoke, so I will be checking compression and doing a leak down test someday when I am not lazy.

i would also guess it is condensation that builds up in the exhaust. i would guess that is why mufflers seem to rot from the inside out.

a by product of gasoline combustion is H2O. that is why you see tailpipes dripping upon acceleration when you are behind people.

If it were black/blue smoke at startup then quits...then it would be valveseals.
