Unrelated to your problem but I read that you put seafoam in the oil, did you do that before replacing the oil pump and sending unit?

Cat isn't clogged. I pulled the O2 sensor on it and it didn't run any better. I put seafoam in the oil before i had to change the oil sending unit, but the oil pump was ok. The temp sensor i changed was the one right beside the thermostat. I also changed the thermo and flushed the system while i was at it. Tuesday ill change that other temp sensor and see what happens.

Popping usually means lean. I know you cleaned the injectors, but that won't fix the problem of a fried injector.

Are they all firing?

I just found this.

Could a crank shaft sensor cause my problem?

Injectors are fine. Truck only runs like crap at low rmp when its cold.

It's possible.... but, careful where you get it from. Some of the aftermarket fellers cause more trouble than they solve..... dealer is best bet. (and the most expensive unfortunately)

I have a 99 ram 1500 with the 5.2 it would start fine and idle fine but when accelerating it would cut out and pop back through the throttle body untill you let off the gas then it was fine. So I replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, ignition coil, throttle position sensor, idle control valve, still didn't help. So after a few days of researching I took it in to the shop it read a code for a shorted o2 sensor. The guy reset the code and told me to check the heater\o2 sensor fuse. Long story short the fuse was blown and now the problem is gone.

I couldn't find a heater/O2 sensor fuse in either fuse box on my truck, and the auto parts shop had no listing for it. I checked online too and no luck there.

is it possible for the pre cat o2 to be bad without throwing an o2 code and just coming up "misfire on cyl # (whatever)?
