well no big deal ill just leave the spring off then.but im going to take a look and see if the tabs are broke or not.thanks

just took a look the tab thats in your pic is there.not sure where the other end of the spring hooks on guess ill ahve to take the cup holder apart to see.like everyone said it works ok without it but im interested to see where it goes lol.
