everyone who has gotten 4 hole injectors has needed a custom tune to dial in the AF ratio. Myself included.

If you REALLY want some injectors, get the Bosch design III ones from this guy. 169 bucks for a set and you are not going to beat that price:

Not everyone... only those who replaced their 22lb injectors with 24lb ones.... I have no custom tune and I am not burning rich..a fuel trim levels are good... and so do the plugs..
I recommend the bosch "0280155703" its 12 ohm like the oem ones and has almost the identacal flow rate... I tried them and had a leaky one which really messed up my results but thats what most of the jeep guys run in thier magnums.....

The seller sent me about 4 different sizes to try and I have a few hundred miles on the 712 injectors with no problems I still thing 12ohm injectors would be controlled by the pcm better than the 16 ohm 712's..everything is fine but I see no mpg gains or performance... so the seller is sending me another matched set of "703's"

I never asked FIC what resistance the injectors are. I assume that he made them 12 ohm because they are in the dodge V8 section.

What is the difference between 712s and 713s?

I'm pretty sure yours are 16 ohm... you can easily test them with a meter...

Resistance doesn't matter, as long as they're above 10ohms.

Swapping injectors around is silly unless you have a reason (boost).

yeah ive heard that stock injectors are just fine if beefing up the motor. id seek power elsewhere. make it burn what your already spraying more effeciently

stock is plenty big enough and only flow about 80% of capacity.... however they stock injectors are the outdated pencil spray type which shoots a jet of fuel instead of a fine atomized mist so more fuel goes unburnt and combustion can be less efficient.especially during times like warmup when the valves arent all that hot yet... it is a common swap on the jeep forums and many pick up 2 to 3 mpg as a result... I imagine results would very depending on how hard the truck is already working... many here are always standing on the pedal to get from stop light a to b as fast as possible and they wont see much gain ...especially with oversized tires and undersized gearing... the stock gearing / tires are already pushing the limits of the drivetrain..

as far as the resistance thing... some say it does in fact matter and some say it doesnt.... injectors are controlled with pulses from the pcm... different ohm load could totally effect the actual pulse reaction and if the pcm has no way of knowing? I'm just guessing of course since I dont know the details of how much things would be affected.. I can say my idle doesnt seem quite as smooth with these 16ohm injectors even though fuel trims look fine....

It's my opinion that swapping to four hole sprayers and NOT advancing the fuel sync (3~4*) is wasting most of the gains to be had by 'upgrading'..

I'm sorry, didn't mean to say advancing.. I meant retarding.. you would want to retard the spray 3-4*..
