new fuel pump still no start.

put in a new pump on a 1997 ram 1500 5.9. i can hear it turn on but over the course of an hour i cranked the engine a little more than a minute. the night it died i started the truck on starting fluid to make sure it wasnt anything else. it is fuel injected.

have you checked the fuel lines?

That's because it's the crankshaft sensor. I just went through this exact thing. Don't buy another part until you replace that and camshaft sensor (work in tandem).

Since you say in the "other" thread, that you have spark. I'd try unscrewing too precat o2 sensor before spending any more money.
