Default Suspension upgrade

Hey guys, my ride is rough and bumpy, as i would expect a dodge to be. I recently drove my moms 2001 Toyota Land Cruiser and if felt as if i was riding on a marsh mellow. Its pretty obvious I won't be able to get my trucks ride as smooth as something luxury, like a Land Cruiser, but I would like to try.

Does anyone know what type of suspension a Land Cruiser has? And about how much money would this cost to do? Labor intensive? Is this even possible?

Is your truck 4 wheel drive? The solid axles front and rear won't give you much of a good ride quality..

I wouldn't worry to much about it, it will probably cost way more than it's worth.

Just throw a good set of shocks on it.

As much as I like Toyota, I got rid of land cruiser. Just like the Escalade, too damn soft and spongy ride. And both are over priced...

Well its my moms car. hah. and Its a 2WD 2001 dodge ram 1500. but a spongy ride is better than knowing every bump down your driveway and every other road. especially when you pass over train tracks often!

If you want a soft mushy ride get a 1949 or 1950 Buick.

I think a good set of shocks would make a significant difference.
