Clicking noise
Ok I have a clicking noise coming from my Pass side front wheel. The faster i go the faster the clicking is, and it gets louder what could this be i have a 99 dodge ram 1500 5.9l
hub bearing or front axle u-joint or rock in tire tread.
test hub bearing by pulling/pushing on the top of the tire with all your might. should be no movement nor noise.
test u-joint by holding inner half and twisting it back and forth. should be no movement nor noise.

Slop in the U-joint, the one behind the steering knuckle. If it has ANY slop, replace it.
Also, while the truck is on the jack, with the wheel still bolted to the hub, push in and out on the tire. If there is more than minimal slop, start thinking about ball joints...
