Fuel Line Disconnect
Doin my plenum today, got everything off except the fuel line. I was gonna leave the injectors and rail intact to the manifold and just pull the line off. I know i need a fuel disconnect tool( 3/8 right?) I pulled the relay and tried to start the truck to let it die but the truck wouldnt start after i pulled it. I pulled the relay not the 40 or 50 amp fuse or whatever was that right? How can i verify theres no pressure? I just didnt want to use the disconnect tool and have gas spraying all over. trucks a 97 5.9 thanks

It's a 97 with a plastic fuel rail correct? No test port. And IIRC, you don't need a tool to disconnect the fuel line. In any event, I hope you have the battery disconnected? This way it doesn't matter if fuel sprays out. Just make sure you use a rag over the connector so gas doesn't get in your eyes.
