No it was the first time. It's been corrected. If the muffler is plugged would that cause any of the problems listed above from too much back pressure? The cat is hollowed out from the miles. Last motor would go through 3-4 quarts of oil a week. Thinking it all might be in the muffler.

It would burn the oil..... try disconnecting the front O2 sensor, and see if that doesn't alter its behavior any....

Unplugged the O2 and she wasn't happy one bit. I'll have to get the fuel synced because I haven't heard of that. It makes sense, but no ones recommended that yet. Thanks for the help! Hopefully that will do it.

Any shop with a decent scan tool should be able to do you up. Good luck, and let us know.

So I went to dodge and got it checked out. He ended up getting to fuel timing back to factory specs, and said I had bad plug wires and he was getting an O2 sensor code. So I changed both and little change. It seems to run slightly better but it just falls on it's face on the freeway or getting up any incline without already cruising. Cruising around town you don't really notice it. It kind of just comes and goes as it pleases. I'm thinking maybe Fuel pump/filter? I checked the fuel pressure today and it's 35psi, climbs to about 45 under load. Which seems pretty low. Other than that I figured maybe bad injectors but I pulled a couple of them out already and they are pristine, they have about 150 miles on them so far.

note: I bought this truck with 220k miles on it already so I don't know if fuel pump/filter has ever been changed.

Fuel pressure should be like 49 lbs at idle. And what does the pressure do when you turn the motor off.

Not sure. It was a mechanic at my work that checked it. I'll try to see if we can find time tomorrow to get a more accurate number on off, idle, and load. If i remember correctly it was only like 30 while off, 35-40 idle and 45-50 load, but don't quote me on that. Could if be the fuel pump/filter that causes my symptoms? Like today it ran fine on the way home from work, hiccup here and there but nothing that noticeable. But on the freeway it falls on it's face. Misses, shakes, over 45 its just pissed. It has to be something carried over from my old motor. It's the same symptoms it had before it died.

Us 94-95 guys clock in at 39psi, so I don't think that's the OP's issue.

Sorry, You are right, I didn't go back to the first page to see the year. Which BTW, should be in the OP's sig and profile anyway.
