95 Ram brake line
What size steel brake lines are used on the 95 Ram. Mine are so rusted that I can't tell what size they are. Went to the dealer and they don't sell them any more (preformed). Also what fittings do they have on them, I would rather have everything ready before I start the job instead of ripping it apart and trying to match it later. Thanks, Danny
3/16 size line... fittings vary alot, about 4 different types on the whole truck. I did my whole truck (it's a 95 too.) with stainless steel lines. My brakes failed 2x, wasn't chancing it anymore. I would go to your local pep boys or O Reilly with the line in hand and match up the fitting sizes. they cant be rusted that bad. Be careful taking fittings off and putting them on the proportioning valve. Mine were so stuck in there, basically fused together. I loosened them and took out the threads with it. Not fun. And if your flaring..good luck...check 3x, if it doesnt look right reflair...not worth it leaking
Thanks. My lines are rusted badly. I have the block connections soaking in liquid wrench/WD 40 as we speak. Hopefully, they will break loose this weekend. I am going to replace them all, thus my question.

liquid wrench's penetrating oil works good for the price. now wd40 on the other hand is useless for what you are doing. i used liquid wrench on the exhaust manifold bolts on my 81 and they seemed to come out fairly easily.
