I wasn't sure what year Dodge started with the servo motor for the temp door..... but, since you have one, that is likely your problem.

Pics would be great. We are notorious pic ****** here.

yes i understand! I am on a pen making forum and we have a saying, "no pics, didnt happen". That is what i primarily do when i get off work, so it may be this weekend when i finally get an opportunity to look at it!

Back to the nature of this thread though, I watched that video and it appears to be a relatively simple process. That just seems too easy of a fix.

Well, as it turns out, the plastic piece inside was in fact cracked! here are some pictures, and yes, it was a pain to get that one screw off, but it only took me about 5 minutes all together. I bet putting it back on is gonna be a pain.

I went ahead and ordered my "Heater Treater" replacement part. I also figured out that the thunking sound i kept hearing was part of the blower motor which is controlled by this part. When the part arrives, i will be back to inform the masses if this replacement fixed the problem. Thanks again for all who chimed in!

Unhappy Heater Treater appears to have fixed the problem!

Many thanks to those that provided assistance and direction to my A/C problem. It literally took around 5 minutes to re-install and i didnt have to cut any of the floor lining!

Where did you order that part. I am having that noise. I have to turn my ac off for a few seconds and it goes away... sometimes. It almost sounds as if there is something in there blocking it.
