i have recently acquired a strange wobble in the truck between 35 and 45 mph. if im holding the steering wheel a little to the left the truck shakes like a son of a B***h, but if i hold it to the right just a hair its fine, is this a symptom of death wobble? im replacing the steering box with one out of a 99 i picked up today but just wanted to get some other input on this as well, i was also considering picking up a skyjacker duel steering stabilizer.

seems like every time i get this damn thing right something else breaks.

 

You might check that left hub.

 

Check the trac bar also.

 

i would say the stabilizer shock needs replacing

 

The gearbox out of the 99 will be just as worn out as yours. Need to get a new one, and preferably one of those brace things For it

 

Replace your track bar.

 

+1 on the trac bar, -1 on the stabilizer.

 

Yes, I would think the trac bar as well!
