ok so my ac doesnt work anyways it prob just needs charged but i never use it anyways so if i just get a shorter belt and run it without the A/C what am i looking at any mpg gain or performance

 

not a whole lot of performance gain. when the A/C isnt running, it doesnt put much drag on the engine. plus a shorter belt alone will not be enough. the compressor has to be removed otherwise the belt is going to hit it in a small spot on the bottom of the ac pulley and it would squeal alot. i thought about doing it with my truck but after i realized that i had to remove the whole system i decided it wasnt worth the tiny performance gain.
