I did some searching around and the general consensus is to replace the steering box, but what I'm wondering is, would tighting the grub bolt help the issue, or is it to far gone and where do you find a 4.5mm allen key, I have 3 sets and they all go from 4mm to 5mm

you can find the tool at sears, or probably harbor freight. as for that steering box...yikes. adjusting might help a bit, but that's quite a bit of slop. If you replace the steering box, I would also invest in a steering gear brace...even a cheap one will help protect the steering box from early failure.

I think you have more than one problem going on there as well. Is the thumping coming from the base of the steering column? there's a fix for that.

Given that your steering box seems to have a pretty good leak already, just replace it. Get a NEW box, don't bother with a reman, it will have the same problems.

I'm pretty sure the clunk is coming from the box itself, to be honest the seal must have just recently given out (past month) because its never looked like that, I had just replace the pitman arm 4 months ago and it was dry and everything was tight, Its not gonna blow apart and loose steering at 70mph will it

Nah. It will start leaking worse, and the worst thing that would happen is you would lose the power assist... However, if you box is making that rude noise, it's time to get it out of there. THAT would make me nervous.
