Default How fast will bad plenum clog a new cat

Just replaced my cat about 1.5 years ago wiht a magnaflow high flow cat. Much more power after it was one, but slowly went away.

Right now the bad pleum gasket if burning around 2-2.5 quarts of oil every 3000 miles

How fast will it clog back up or are chances pretty good it already is?

Well that sucks. $130 in the trash. Found out these trucks had a plenum issue after I had it put on. Went to the muffler shop to have my exhaust put on and they said the cat was shot too. So I bought one and had them put it on. Sucks....

I'd say fix the oil burning issue fisrt wheather its from a plenum gasket, pvc or just worn rings...
