Default Disappearing oil. NOT PLNEUM

I replaced my plneum gasket last weekend and gave an oil change and checked the oil last night and it's pretty much all gone. I have no visible leaks anywhere. And suggestions?

Clean everything good that you can get in touch with.

Put oil back in.

Put pan under truck during night or anywhere.

Track it down....

+1 on cleaning it up and refilling. How does your oil pan look?

if there no obvious sign of a leak I'd say your burning it the good old fashioned way with worn rings like most old vehicles do....what kind of mileage are we talking here both on the engine total and since the oil change..... I'd do a compression test or have one done... also replace you pvc valve it that hasnt been done recently...(although that should have been replaced BEFORE the plenum and every 24,000 miles...)

It's pretty much ALL gone? You sure it's not just a quart low...
When you did the oil change did you remember to put the drain plug back in?
There might be a 5qt. puddle of oil on the ground wherever you did the oil change...

Leaving the drain plug out would not be something I would admit lol... Augie has a good point. A compression test will be a very good idea if you can't find a leak anywhere. How many miles on this motor?

Most places oil disappears in our rams:
1.) Valve Cover Gaskets (Continuous Leak)
2.) Bad Valve Stem Seals (Burning on start)

true but I have both of those issues on my vette and it does not burn THAT much oil that quickly... and you would see a puff of smoke on startup that would go away shortly after startup...

Lol yes I put the drain plug back in I have about 150000 miles on truck and motor. Last oil change was 6 days ago about 400 miles ago. Do y'all know what the compression should be? I cleaned everything off when I did the plneum gasket also.

I believe recommended is like 120 psi or higher...
maybe time for some high mileage oil and engine restore or risoline to help boost compression....unless a rebuild is on the menu for you..
