Default no power at a/c plug - ever

Hey guys, I have a non-working a/c, not uncommon on it's own, but I took the clutch molex loose & turned it on with the engine running & the volt meter measured nothing from either wire alone when grounded to the block, or to each other directly. I can almost do without the a/c, but I also want to run a wire for my efans to it so they start automatically when I turn on the a/c also. Any ideas?

I also verified that the fuses are good also.

Verify that fuse J in the PDC is good. (10 amp)
Verify that you have power at pin 30 on the A/C relay.

If that looks good, swap the a/c relay with another one. See if anything changes.

and if that ain't it......

Verify at least 5 volts on the brown wire at the a/c low pressure switch. (on accumulator.) Make sure you have power on the other side of the switch as well. (with it plugged in.....) If not, either low A/C charge, or bad switch.

If that's ok, check the high pressure switch...... see if you have voltage to/across it.

Second the 134a.

If the charge is too low, the low psi switch wont allow the A/C clutch to engage. Start with a can and see if the clutch engages.
