Default Confused

So my GF's bro gave me some 9007 yellow lights to which I then went to put them in. Now from what I read you needed to do modifications on our harnesses so the 9007's fits. What I'm confused about is that mine are 9004's, but the 9007's plug right in and fit perfectly with no issues(they work also).

Did I get my info and research wrong? Or am I missing something?

Hmm...if they work, and if you like them, and you won't get ticketed for yellow headlights......let 'er rip!

The issue with headlights is a dlyter mentioned - sport models.

My confusion is regarding this guide that was poster here.

http://forums.g2ic.com/showthread.ph...-MUCH-BRIGHTER

It says to switch frm 9004 to 9007 lights you need to change wires and modify the harness.

you need to switch 2 wires. give me a couple minutes, and ill find the info on fisher plows website. when i bought my new plow the new harness was setup for 9007's from the factory. i had to switch 2 out of the 3 wires.
