Default maint reqd light

I have a 2001 3500 Heavy Duty Series 5.9 liter; Maint Reqd light came on @ 60K miles; Already checked all emissions control items and all seems to be working. I know this is the reason why the light comes on as scheduled @ 60K miles. Trying to find either a post or topic related to turning off the light. In the Chilton Manual it specifies that dealer must turn off. Are there any other options or suggestions to turn of the light myself?

You can reset the computer or I had the local Autozone store check the codes and eliminate the codes free.

I think you can disconnect the negative terminal on the battery and that will reset the computer, works for a "check engine" light.
