That is low compression. I would fix that.

No codes since replaced map sensor. Just found out the low compression numbers on #4,6and were running compression readings. Which are generally 50% of cranking compression. So my cranking compression are 140 psi on 8-160 psi on 6-and 155 on 4 cylinder. Still has little jumpiness until warms up but never completely goes away at idle. A shop told me 40,000 miles ago that had like 60, 90 and 90 in those same cylinders. Just figured they didn't do it right at the time.

Did my own manifold vacuum and got 19 with a very slight flick. One shop also did smoke test to rule out vacuum leak. I just put 750.00 into rear diff. The jumpiness at idle started immediately after the rear end was worked on. The day i dropped it off it wasn't an issue. First start up after paying the shop it was there.

Re run the compression test. (cranking.) Verify your numbers.

Did compression test with engine cold and warm at 4 cranks per cylinder. Cold results no.8-130,no.6-160, no.4-155, no.2-170, no.7-160, no.5-165, no.3-180and no.1-165. On warm engine got no.8-155, no.6-165, no.4-165, no.2-170, no7-180, no.5-170, no.3-185 and no1. 165. So there is a 50 psi difference highest to lowest at startup and still 35 psi difference when warm.

The numbers still look pretty good though..... and the difference between high and low is almost within spec....... I would seafoam the snot out of it, then re-run the tests.

Lmao! Did give her about half a pint last nite, but was reluctant to make her really gag. One more pint shouldn't hurt, never has me. Will let you know.

HeyYou,thanks. Gave her two Seafoam sessions, one pint each time and it really has smoothed her out at start up. Also the little herky jerky when coming to a stop or just taking foot off brake is gone. So maybe all the sensors i replaced wasn't in vain.
Will recheck compression and let you know.
