Default Ticking from my motor

Hey I'm new to this I got a 99 dodge ram 1500 with a 318 in it and it's been ticking for about 3 years now people told me it was the back injector on the passenger side I've changed 3 on that side and it still ticks when idling then gets loader when I press the gas and when I unplug the back injector it quits ticking then starts back when I plug it back up

Runs the same when cold and no codes but wouldn't it still tick if u unplug one of the injectors if it was the exhaust manifold

Not necessarily. But I would think you would get CEL for misfire with injector unplugged.

If you disable that cylinder, it's not going to fire, so no tick I would say.
