Default 99 ram v6 oil pressure

I have a 99 ram 1500 v6 that sat for about 2 1/2 to three years at my dad's place. The truck has a little over 53000 miles on it and now that I have it back, I did an oil change after running a bottle of motor flush through it to clean the old oil out of it. I noticed when driving, the oil pressure doesn't stay steady, the gauge will drift down when going around corners or up slight hills. The pressure when running at idle is about 60 psi and at around 50 when driving. When turning a corner the gauge drops to about 25 but never to 0. Before changing the oil I didn't notice if the gauge drifted or not. What all could cause the pressure to drift when turning or going up a hill?

Low oil level, or bad sensor. Maybe a clogged pickup tube...... probably wouldn't hurt to drop the pan, and see what you find.

The oil should have been changed before start up after sitting that long. Check what HeyYou stated. And just my opinion, but, using the flush as you did was a big mistake as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks, looks like I'm on the way to get a new Oil Pan Gasket and might as well pull the covers while I am at it.

Whats wrong with using Motor Flush, that's what the Dealer used on my wifes PT Cruiser at 100000?

It could very well be the part of the problem you are having. When it sits like that condensation/water builds up in the motor.

Motor flush......

Most of them are pretty much just kerosene, with some additives. Maybe. Not exactly a good lubricant. If you don't follow the directions EXACTLY, you can destroy bearings in short order.
