Ok, at least one does not have to pay for shipping.

If you have too buy a new radiator. Depending on your radiator type they may have too special order. Meaning it'll get beat up during shipping. That said try and pick one out off the shelf so you can do a visual check off fins condition and core area. The first one I opened and examine had some imperfections that I wasn't good with. If you don't see perfection
Pass get another box. Don't settle. Be discerning.

I'm getting ready too paint new radiator. Using a special paint just for auto radiators.
I called my local radiator shops about cleaning/prepping the core for paint.
And in was told to spray it down with brake cleaner because it's evaporates fast and
Leaves no residue and leaves a clean surface behind. After to give it a diluted soapy water
Rinse let dry. I'm going to blow out the excessive water with canned air then let dry over
Nite and then paint.
