so i was taking one of my electric fans off my 98 dodge ram and i damaged on of the radiator tubes and now its leaking. the radiator is less ten a year old so im very pissed off at myself. What can i do to fix it???
New radiator time. In the old days we would pinch of and solder the ends where it's damaged. Not sure that's happening with an aluminum radiator. And I doubt any shop will fix just that and want to liable. There going to sell you a new one. Plastic tank radiators are like Bic lighters.
I agree. Local dealer wanted over $300, paid like $220 at AutoZone. And it's the connection's for cooler lines, for either tranny or oil I guess, don't know....
I know I paid around $130 for the radiator from Radiator Express. Lifetime warranty, free shipping at the time.
They're all "Made in China" anyways...
You are right, but what if it gets damaged during shipping? You will not be installing it that day if time is an issue. At least the local place can get one the next day.

Well, there's always "what if's."
What if the local place only had one and had to order the replacement?
