Haha yea as much as I would like to...

And I hear ya on the parts hunting. The truck shopping list always seems to grow much faster than the bank account can keep up....

Well its more of a go there friday night and party hard and go drive in the 4 foot mudhole if you got what it takes. Then repeat again all day saturday and saturday night.
im confused because you say its a half ton here but your putting 42's or 44's on ... do you have D60? or a diffrent axel?

I'm surprised you came back.

Anyway, as 2x said, chill out and stay a while; you'll learn a lot.

BTW, just for everyone's record...there was no such thing as a Ram Laramie until 2003. Get it right. It went, Work Special, ST, SLT and later, SLT+
I happen to have a 98 SLT with the leather interior package and it's no Laramie; however, all SLT's had a badge that said " Laramie SLT", just for looks.

Sorry, it just gripes me every time someone brings up Laramie in a second gen and thinks it's something special.

Wow, sharp..... NADA shows clean retail value (which it sure looks like it qualifies for..) at 9450.00...... (for the Boston region....) Clean trade-in is right about 7K. If you can get it for around the 7K, looks to be a good deal. Gotta have a look in person first though, and drive it. Looks like he did a LOT of work to it though. Should be a nice truck.

The five speed V-8 trucks are indeed rare.
