Default Loss of power issue

nksI have a 98 Ram 1500 5.2 automatic 2wd with 113000 miles. I had the catalytic converter changed in Feb 2012. Ever since the change I feel like I have less power especially on hills. The transmission doesn't slip or make any weird noises. When I hit 45 MPH the rpms drop from 2000 to 1500 while I'm still accelerating. Its almost like it creeps up to a higher speed. I'm just wondering if this could be transmission related or could the o2 sensors be going out? I'm taking it to be checked next week by the dealership. Any ideas would help.

Why was the cat changed out? Has the plenum been fixed? If not that's probably the issue.

It was clogged and wouldn't go over 10 MPH unless the o2 sensor was disconnected. The plenum was never replaced. I'll definitely look into that.

Wouldn't go over 10? That's some serious clog or a clog/miss combo.... I would address the plenum before you do anything else as the same problems will eventually come to play...
