Default Please Help!!! Wiring!!!!!!

Ok so i drive a '99 Ram 1500 5.9 360. Anyways while i was driving one day i noticed that night my dashboard illumination was not working; Speedo, Odo, Fuel guage, etc. However, all my check engine lights and abs lights, etc. Do work. So after being pulled over i realized my tail lamps also went out! I have no blown fuses and i replaced the headlight switch. My hazards and turn signals work, also the wiring has power i light tested it. Please im dying over here. What do i need to do to make them operate correctly!?!?! Thanks Much!

using either the test light, or a multimeter, probe for voltage at all points along the circuits to see where the breaks are.

also be aware that rusted or loose ground wires are a common problem with our trucks. a couple of critical ones are under the dash, behind/near drivers kick panel.

Typically, dash instrument panel lights are intentionally designed on the same circuit as tail lights. The reason - so driver has a way of knowing that tail lights are not working. Check fuses again. I am betting it is blown. Don't just visually check - test for continuity!
