Default A few new problems and ?'s... need help

Hey guys since I've last been on here I've replaced my stock air filter with a Spectre 14X3 and it was worth every penny. One ? with this is when I barley have my foot on the gas I hear a small hiss. I also hear this when I let off of the gas and was wondering if this is a leak somewhere or is it just the tb closing and letting a small amount of air in? I've covered all areas where air could creep in with extruded butyl rubber and this should seal the area air tight, but I just wanted to make sure.

Question number two. I noticed this morning that both my brake and abs lights were on and was wondering what could possibly be the issue here? Everything drives like it did before, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

And ? # 3. I also noticed this morning that me speedometer does not work under 25 mph. Whenever I'm below this it just sits at 0 and if I go above 25 it jumps to my speed and if I slow down below it instantly drops to 0. Any help on these ?'s would be greatly appreciated as I don't know much about trucks just the basics.

You are going to hear the air flow more with the 14x3. That is more than likely normal.

2&3 are related, and are the same cause.... Rear Wheel Speed sensor is going belly up. (the one on top of the rear diff). Replace that, and those problems should go away.

+1 If you had just one of either 2 or 3, it might be anything from the speedo back to the axle. With 2&3, definitely ABS/Speed sensor. Just did mine in March. 1/2 hour start to finish. Also, Summit Racing has the cheapest one, but the connector is on the wrong side and you'll have to move the harness to make it fit. It's not worth saving $2. Rock Auto has the right one and it's only $2 more and you can get 5% off and it'll be about the same with shipping.

ok thanks... could that also have been the reason my speedometer was off by 5mph? I have everything stock other than air filter so far. Will definitely order a new one today so I can get it fixed asap.

Possibly. But more like the tires on the speed difference. I went to a 235/75/16 from the factory 225/75/16 and it is now 2 mph off according to those "your speed is" signs-at 25, 45 and 55 mph the speedo always shows 2 mph faster than what the signs say I am going. It might also simply be a hard bump-like a giant pothole at 65 mph-could have caused the needle to displace.

Oh ok... I have another question. I'm installing my new headlights because my old ones would not pass inspection so I went ahead and bought me a pair of projectors. As all projectors they have an outer ring that requires wires to be ran either to the battery with a switch or to a fuse that is hot with the key. My ? for you guys is, is there a fuse that is hot with the key under the hood because I currently don't have enough to run it through the fire wall to the fusebox nest to the door?

Could you possible give me the part number or link to the exact part needed b/c I see a lot of sensors and each looks differently.
