lol, sorry, i'm not sure. that's why i took mine to an expert.
i'm not sure which one's require the weights and which one's don't. i thought the 360 required the weights and the 318 didn't (or vice versa), but their website doesn't show it that way. GD or HeyYou or Zman probably know and will get around to saying.

this is a question. i see a new product listed, call super-RV or max-RV or something, with a stall speed 700 below stock (which is about 1600-1800). what's everybody think about that?

For a stock 360, the weights are on the flex plate. A 360 is externally balanced, the 318 is internal. I'm running a 318 flex plate on my internally balanced 408 in the Dakota. But the converters are all the same as far as balance goes.

I have the parts for a budget externally balanced 408 in the Ram, Mancini was selling MOPAR stroker cranks for 300 bucks so I nabbed one...And after seeing the differance a 408 made over the 360 in my Dakota....Man, I REALLY want one now.

$300... That's a LOT cheaper than what they have them listed at now. That wasn't a forged crank was it??

No...Cast MOPAR...It was a blow out sale. But the cast mopar crank is not like the Eagle cast crank.

I nabbed my Billetz UD pullys for 46.00, they are not double that, but still a good deal.
