Default shaking rear view mirror

Hey guys, I bought a new aftermarket left side outer rear view mirror. It has no heat or power, very basic model. I installed it with all the same rubber spacers & it looks real nice, but when I am driving at any speed, the glass part of it shakes so much it is un-usable to me. Have any of you ran into this & found a fix?

Is anything loose in the mirror??

I have seen folks stuff a folded up wad of paper between the glass, and the steel part of the mirror to prevent exactly what you are getting there, but, that is probably not the solution you were looking for.

No man, not loose at all. Sitting still not running, looks perfect. Only when running does it annoy me.

Drive with your window rolled down, and stick your finger on various parts of the mirror, and see which one stops the shaking.

The truck IS running smooth, is it not?

So you need a driver side , SIDE view mirror correct? Not "rear" view mirror. I have one of those if you would like to purchase it. It also is just a mirror with no power anything. PM me if you are interested.
