Need to decide what ya wanna do. If you do duals, don't need the Y, but, do indeed need two converters. (to be strictly legal.....)

If you go single, need the y-pipe, and only one cat.

Compare costs, and see which you like better. 3" single, or 2 1/2" duals...... (which is also the size pipe I would run for either application..... respectively.)

Ok so this is what I'm doing: Pacesetter shorties, y pipe w/ one converter then into a Flowmaster Super 10 and from that duals straight out the back with slash cut tips. What do you think?

3" on the single end, 2.5 inch on the duals. Should flow good, and sound good too.

i was thinking about doing that to my ram charger. for some reason the exhaust is 3" from the y-pipe to right before the muffler where it shrinks down to 2.5". even with the way it is it sounds loud and aggressive.

I think poser duals are stupid. If you wanna look like you have duals, get duals. Real duals with long tubes will sound much better too.

I have the exact exhaust system I am criticizing... But it was there when I bought it and I have been too busy fixing other stuff to spend money on that. Trust me, it will go byby.
